CreateRowFromColumns Method

Overview

The CreateRowFromColumns method creates a new IDataRow instance from a list of column metadata. The created row contains one field per column initialized with default values (for example, 0 for numeric types). Created data row is not associated with any data table.

departmentDataTable.AddColumn("Id", DataTypeNames.INT32);
departmentDataTable.AddColumn("Name", DataTypeNames.STRING);

// 3. Create a row from the table columns (all values are null)
IDataRow departmentDataRow = DataRowExtensions.CreateRowFromColumns(departmentDataTable.Columns);
